Pistons Lead 2-0 Beat Cavaliers 79-76

00a129.jpg In the history of Cleveland Sports, heartbreaking moments are known by one word descriptions, the drive, the fumble, the shot. Now the travel can be added to the Cleveland Sports lexicon. A traveling violation in the closing seconds of game two between the Detroit Pistons, and the Cleveland Cavaliers called on guard Sasha Pavlovic gave the Pistons the lead for good as they defeated Cleveland 79-76. The win gives Detroit a 2-0 lead in their NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

Cleveland led at the half 50-38, but came out of the locker room totally flat and saw their lead evaporate in the third quarter as Detroit took the lead at 59-57. But the Cavaliers recovered temporarily and led by three at the end of the quarter.

The referees allowed the players to play a physical game which upset Cleveland coach Mike Brown was given a technical in the games closing seconds. Cleveland forward LeBron James led all scorers with 19 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. Rasheed Wallace was high scorer for the Pistons with 16 points and 11 boards. Game three will be played in Cleveland on Sunday.
