00a191.jpg The San Antonio Spurs are just one win away from the NBA Finals as they defeated the Utah Jazz 91-79 Monday night. They have now taken a commanding 3-1 lead in their best of seven series. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was not around for the end of the game, as he got himself ejected in the middle of the fourth quarter. The way his team faded down the stretch in what had been up until that point had been a closely played contest, probably made Sloan happy that he did not have to watch the end of the game up close.

Jazz point guard Deron Williams who missed the morning shoot around with a case of an intestinal flu, kept his team in the game as he was the high scorer for both sides with 27 points 10 assists and three steals. But power forward Carlos Boozer was not able to elevate his game scoring 18, and grabbing only 9 rebounds. San Antonio sixth man Manu Ginobli again paced hi team with 22 points and 6 boards. Game five will shift back to San Antonio, if the Spurs do make the finals it will be their third time there in the past five years.
