LBJ Carries Cavaliers To Double O/T Victory Beat Pistons 109-107
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
In a performance that evoked memories of NBA Legends, like Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Julius Erving, and Michael Jordan, Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James reached the next level Thursday night. James figuratively took his team, strapped them on his back and took them to the promised land. James scored 48 points, including 29 of his teams last 30, and single handed beat the Detroit Pistons in double overtime 109-107.
James who was criticized during the series first two games for not being aggressive enough, wiped those thoughts from anyone who witnessed this contest. James scored the games last two points in the second overtime on a layup. Pistons guard Chauncy Billups tried to tie the contest once again but came up empty handed.
The victory gives Cleveland a 3-2 series lead with game six scheduled in Cleveland on Saturday night. the Cavaliers have never been to a NBA Finals since their inception into the league back in 1970. Cleveland was in a similar situation last year in the Eastern Conference Semi Finals winning game five in Detroit. But they then lost game six in a battle in Cleveland and were never a factor in game seven.

King James made the Detroit Pistons look soft as he scored 29 out of 30 points for his team. King James new nickname is “King Dunkadelic” after he sent the game into OT with 2 powerful dunks. LeBron should be MVP, sorry Dirk you couldn’t get out of the first round.
