Pistons Send Delfino To Raptors

The Detroit Pistons sent 2003 first round draft pick Carlos Delfino to the Toronto Raptors for?two second round draft picks one?each in 2009 and 2010. The Argentinian guard was the 25th pick of the first round, and?is scheduled to make $1.8 million in the upcoming season. The 25 year old Defino averaged 4.4 points 2.4 boards and 0.9?in 180 games with Detroit.? Pistons President Joe Dumars released a statement saying that the organization appreciated his contribution to the club, and wished him luck with the Raptors. Toronto General Manager Bryan?Colangelo said that Delfino will thrive in the Raptors system.?The Pistons have now traded both their first round picks from the 2003 trading second pick over all Darko Millicic in 2006 to Orlando for the 15th pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.?
