Hakeem the “DREAM” Olajuwon was a much better overall center than Malone… Also the “Admiral” should have been in the Top 10, @ 9 or 10. No center in the game was like Hakeem though, with his great footwork, post moves, and passing ability - not to mention he is the ALL-TIME LEADER IN NBA HISTORY FOR SHOTS BLOCKED, he changed a game in so many different ways. He was very effective in stealing the basketball, ranking in the top 10 on numberous occasions. For a center he would humiliate the opposition (1995 WCF v. Robinson & Spurs.) Will give you credit for putting Malone up there high ~ as most writers don’t (He helped work out w/ Hakeem in making him more stronger, hungrier, and better in the post during pick-up games.) Malone was a big influence for Hakeem in the early-to-mid 80s. Hakeem’s ‘95 Championship Playoff TITLE Run with Houston being the 6th seed and in ‘94 when he took that mediocre team besides a young Robert Horry and him to their first championship ~ The DREAM at times was the leading PTS, Boards, Assists, Steals, and BLOCKS Player in most of those games in ‘94! What a player he was ~ he goes under appreciated because of his low-key, humble approach. He was the best post player ever with his excellent footwork and athleticism. Olajuwon was a once in a life time player!
