Vinsanity Opts Out Of Final Year

The New Jersey Nets announced on Saturday, that shooting guard Vince Carter has opted out of the final year of his contract allowing the All-Star to become an unrestricted free agent. Cavaliers Extend Qualifying Offers To Two Players

The Cleveland Cavaliers issued a statement through their media relations department on Saturday, announcing that they have tendered qualifying offers to two players. Power forward Anderson Varejao, and shooting guard Sash Pavlovic are now technically unrestricted free agents due to the process. The move gives Cleveland the right to match any offers from any other teams.
