The Portland Trail Blazers announced on Monday that they have signed the number one pick in last week’s NBA Draft Greg Oden, to a two year deal with club options for the following two years. The two years that are guaranteed, should earn the seven foot center from Ohio State close to $8 million. The third year if the club picks up the option would be worth close to $4.5 million. Oden will participate in Portland’s summer league which will start this Friday against the Boston Celtics. Oden was represented by Mike Conley, father of former OSU teammate point guard Mike Conley Jr. Portland also agreed to deals with second round picks Duke forward Josh McRoberts, and the guard from Florida Taurean Green.
