According to published reports out of Memphis, the Memphis Grizzlies have reached an agreement in principle with free agent center Darko Milicic. Milicic who played last season for Orlando was waived by the Magic so that they would have the necessary cap room to sign Rashard Lewis. The deal according to Milicic’s agent Marc Cornstein is for three years. The reports say that the agent would not reveal the financial agreement. Milicic was the number two pick in the 2003 draft going ahead of Carmelo Anthony, and Dwayne Wade among other up and coming NBA stars. Milicic who barely left the bench during his time in Detroit was traded to the Magic in February of the 2006 campaign.
