Wallace Reportedly On Verge Of Long Term Pact With Bobcats

Charlotte Bobcats Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Bernie Bickerstaff told the Associated Press on Wednesday that the team has reached an agreement in principle that will keep swingman Gerald Wallace in a Bobcats uniform. Wallace, who became an unrestricted free agent at the end of the regular season led the team in scoring with 18.1 points per game last year. Bickerstaff said that the team still had some minor paperwork issues to resolve but felt assured the deal would be consummated.
