Ah, but they’ll always have Auburn Hills!? Former Indiana Pacers teammates Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson will each be suspended for the first seven games of the 2007-2008 NBA season for separate off the court incidents. Artest pleaded No Contest to Domestic Violence charges in a California Court in may stemming from an incident between he and his wife last March. Jackson, pleaded guilty last month to criminal recklessness for firing a gun outside a “Gentleman’s Club” in Indiana late last year. Jackson said he will not appeal the suspension, Artest is currently in Africa on a humanitarian mission and could not be reached for comment. The two will forever be linked as the two Indiana players who went into the stands in Auburn Hills, Michigan during the infamous brawl between the Pacers and the Detroit Pistons.
