Atkins Signs With Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets Monday released a statement from Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien announcing the signing of veteran free agent guard Chucky Atkins. The statement said that due to team policy they would not give out the terms of the deal. Atkins who played last year for the Memphis Grizzlies averaged 13.2 points per game last season. This will be the seventh NBA team that Atkins has played for, Atkins says he is excited to be a member of the team.
