Green And Durant Combine For 60 But Sonics Lose To Blazers 84-78
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
If you are a fan of the Seattle SuperSonics, you must be hungrily anticipating the start of the NBA season, especially after the taste they got on Sunday. Seattle ended up losing their Summer League game to the Portland Trail Blazers 84-78, but if ever a cloud had a silver lining this would be the one. Seattle forward Jeff Green went off for 32 points, and 13 boards, and he was complimented by fellow rookie forward Kevin Durant who chipped in with 28. Zendon Hamilton was the leading scorer for Portland with 19 points. Now it would be extremely optimistic to think that this “Dynamic Duo” can produce like this every game in their first season in the league, but it does give you a pretty nice glimpse of the long term future.
