Reports out of Miami on Monday say that it is quite likely that Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade will miss the start of the regular NBA Season which will be in late October. Wade is rehabbing from knee and shoulder surgery, and although the rehabilitation process is going well Wade and his doctors would prefer to take the cautious approach. Wade, who was the NBA Finals MVP in 2006 spoke to reporters at the dedication of a refurbished basketball court at a city park in Lauderhill, Florida. He said that the shoulder surgery he had has a usual recovery period of six months. Wade had the operation a couple of weeks after the Heat were eliminated by the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
