Magic To Sign Gortat

The Orlando Magic on Wednesday had discussions with Polish center Marcin Gortat, in him signing a deal with the club. Gortat played with Orlando in the Summer League and impressed Magic officials. Gortat who is a?7′ 240 is expected to be offered a one year pact with a club option on the second team. he is currently signed to a German team for next season so he would have to buy his way out of that contract. Gortat was originally drafted by Phoenix who traded his draft rights to Orlando.
