Stern To Address Media On Tuesday

NBA Commissioner David Stern will hold a press conference on Tuesday to discuss the investigation of NBA referee Tim Donaghy by a Federal Grand Jury based in Brooklyn, New York. Donaghy is being investigated on charges that he or his “associates” may have gambled on NBA games, or that he may have been involved in “fixing” NBA games that he officiated. Stern was asked in February about possible point shaving in the NBA by a reporter, adamantly denying it and asking what would prompt the reporter to ask questions on the subject.
