Suns Bell Has Knee Scoped

The Phoenix Suns guard Raja Bell had an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee and will be out of commission for the next 4-6 weeks. Bell who came to the team before the 2005-2006 season has averaged 14.7 points per game over the last two years. Bell and back court mate Steve Nash have been very instrumental in the Suns success. Phoenix team physician Dr. Tom Carter said the surgery was performed to repair mild wear and tear on the knee cap.
