As NBA fans make out their letters to Santa for their Christmas wish list, most will probably be topped by a HDTV set so they can watch the three exciting matchups that will be nationally televised Christmas Day. ABC will present a Christmas Day doubleheader as LeBron James and the Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers will take on Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat in game one. Game two will feature the Los Angeles Lakers (with or without Kobe Bryant) taking on two time league MVP Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. And on Christmas Night the young guns will get a chance to shoot it out as Greg Oden and the Portland Trail Blazers take on Kevin Durant and the Seattle SuperSonics. The NBA released their national television schedule on Thursday and the Lakers, Suns, and the Heat will all have 24 national appearances. The Dallas Mavericks will have 23 times on national television, followed by San Antonio and Cleveland with 22 each. Making a prominent comeback, the Boston Celtics who did not appear in a national game last season will now have ten games televised nationally.
