Brand To Have Surgery Tuesday
The Los Angeles Clippers forward Elton Brand will have surgery on Tuesday to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. He injured his left tendon last week while he was practicing. Yao Gets Married In Shanghai
Houston Rockets center Yao Ming got married on Monday in Shanghai, China to longtime fiancee Ye Li. The bride is 6′2″ and plays for the Chinese National Women’s team. Although nobody from the Rockets organization attended, reports that 100 family members and about 100 security officers were at the ceremony.

Reports Say Alston Arrested
Reports out of Houston Sunday said that Rockets guard Rafer Alston was arrested early Sunday morning according to Houston police. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and public intoxication another misdemeanor. Information was not available of whether he was jailed for the incidents, and if so was he free at this time.
