Warriors Sign Barnes To One Year Deal

The Golden State Warriors announced on Monday that they have re-signed free agent forward Matt Barnes to a one year deal. Financial terms of the pact were not disclosed.?Barnes who had his best year in the NBA last season was considered a spark plug off the bench by Warriors head coach Don Nelson. Barnes averaged a career high 9.8 points 4.6 boards and 2.1 assists a game. Barnes was looking for a long term pact in free agency but could not find a team that was interested.
