Brand Surgery Successful

Los Angeles Clippers forward Elton Brand had successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon in his left leg. The surgery was performed by Dr. Craig Morgan at Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, Deleware. The 28 year old big man injured himself last week in his daily workout. He will wear a cast for the next six weeks, and then switch to a walking boot for the following six. There has been no date set for Brand to resume playing in the NBA, but him missing the entire season is certainly not a far fetched scenario.
