Penny And Shaq Reunited In Miami

The Miami Heat announced on Thursday that they are signing NBA veteran guard Anfernee Hardaway to a deal for the upcoming season. Penny last played for the New York Knicks in November 2005, when injuries put him on the shelf. Hardaway will be reunited with former teammate Heat center Shaquille O’Neal with whom he began his NBA career with the Orlando Magic. Heat coach Pat Riley said that Hardaway has worked hard to get himself into NBA shape, and looks forward to having the 36 year old veteran on the bench this season.
