Heinrich Leaves Team USA For Personal Reasons

Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Heinrich has decided not to pursue a spot on the Team USA Basketball team due to personal reasons, and has dropped out of the tryouts. Heinrich is the third player in recent days to withdraw from the squad, following Portland’s Greg Oden, and Houston’s Shane Battier. There were reports that Heinrich would probably not end up with one of the final roster spots, although that at this point will remain conjecture.
