Spurs Sign Free Agent Udoka

The NBA Champions San Antonio Spurs announced on Thursday that they have signed veteran swingman Ime Udoka to a contract for the upcoming season. Detail of the deal were not revealed. Udoka spent last year with the Portland Trail Blazers where he split time between playing guard and forward averaging 8.4 points, 3.7 boards, and 1.5 assists per game. He started 75 game for the Trail Blazers and ended up with 10 or more points in 29 games. Udoka who was not drafted has spent time with the NBDL, USBL, IBA, as well as playing in France and Spain. He also had stints with both the Lakers and the Knicks.
