Posey Pleads Guilty To Reckless Driving

Veteran free agent James Posey who played last year for?the Miami Heat pleaded guilty to reckless driving charges Friday stemming from an incident that took place in Miami Beach?last April. Posey was originally charged with drunken driving after refusing to take a breathalyzer test but was able to work out a plea bargain for the lesser charges. Posey will serve six months of probation?and will have to perform 50 hours of community service. Posey who plays small forward and shooting guard was originally drafted by Denver in 1999. He has also played for the Rockets and the Grizzlies before coming to the Heat in 2005. Golden State is known to have interest in signing him and the Heat have also shown that they would like to retain him.
