Sources Say Miami Wants Tru-Warrior

There is an old bromide in sports that some times a player is far more valuable to a team than what he could command in a trade. The situation may be the opposite for the Sacramento Kings and perennial problem child Ron Artest as reports have surfaced out of Miami that the Heat are looking to acquire the player known as Tru-Warrior. Sources close to the team say that Miami has talked to Sacramento about acquiring Artest for a package of players including Udonis Haslem. Earlier this off-season there was talk between Orlando, and the Kings as well as interest shown by the Knicks. Many NBA observers believe that Artest, who will miss the first seven games of the season due to off court issues is not a good fit for Sacramento. The Kings are bringing in former NBA player and former college coach Reggie Theus as a rookie head coach, and many observers believe that will not make for a good match.
