Clippers Ink Ruben Patterson to Contract

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed a deal with veteran forward Ruben Patterson for the 2007-2008 NBA campaign. Patterson who played his college ball in Cincinnati for Bobby Huggins was drafted in 1998 by the Clippers fellow tenants at the Staple Center the L.A. Lakers. Last season playing for the Milwaukee Bucks may have been his best as a pro averaging 14.7 points, 5.4 boards and shooting 55 % from the field. Both Clippers General Manager Elgin Baylor and coach Mike Dunleavy said they are very excited to have Patterson on the team.
