Elson Sidelined For Six Weeks After Eye Injury

San Antonio Spurs center Francisco Elson will be out of commission after suffering a broken eye socket during a game last week. Elson incurred the injury last week playing for the Netherland’s team in a game against Belarus in the European Championship. The Netherlands won the contest 77-72, but then lost to Slovakia on Saturday. Elson played in that game but he starting suffering from double vision. Tests showed he had a fractured eye socket, and on Wednesday he left Holland’s National Team.
