Denver Nuggets Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien announced on Wednesday that the team has waived veteran backup point guard Anthony Carter. carter only played for Denver in two regular season games last year and one playoff game. Originally signed by the Miami Heat back in 1999 the 32 year old veteran has averaged 4.7 points and 3.7 points over his NBA career. With all the NBA teams needing backcourt bench strength, if Carter is healthy he will not be unemployed for long.
