Houston Rockets forward Justin?Reed?was released from jail in Jackson, Mississippi?on Wednesday following his arrest Tuesday night. Reed was charged with possession of marijuana, and placed in the Hinds County Jail. Reed posted $500.00 bond and was given his release early Wednesday morning. He was charged with misdemeanor possession because the quantity he had was less than an ounce. He will have to pay a fine ranging from $100.00 to $250.00, there has been no date set yet for when he will have to appear in Hinds County Court. Reed who played his college ball for Mississippi was acquired along with Mike James from the Minnesota Timberwolves?for Juwann Howard? back in June. He has played three years in the NBA.
