Nuggets Bolster Front Court In Trade With Sixers

The Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76er?s announced on Monday that they have completed a four player trade. The Nuggets will receive 7? center/forward Steven Hunter and forward Bobby Jones from Philadelphia. In return the Sixers will get veteran forward Reggie Evans, and the draft rights to Ricky Sanchez. Denver Director of Basketball Operations Mark Warketien was excited about the deal praising Hunter as a seven footer who could run, and Jones who showed promise at the end of his rookie year last season. Hunter was originally drafted in the first round by the Orlando Magic back in the 2001 NBA Draft. Evans who played with Seattle before coming to Denver was acquired by the Nuggets in a trade in February of 2006. Sanchez, who has never played in the NBA was taken with the 35th pick of the 2005 NBA Draft.
