Sixers Sign Big Man Booth

The Philadelphia 76er’s announced on Wednesday that they have signed 6′11″ free agent center Calvin Booth for the upcoming NBA season. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Booth who is going into his ninth year in the NBA, will be playing for his fifth?team. He was originally selected by Washington in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft. He also played with Milwaukee, Dallas, Seattle, and then went back to the Wizards prior to the 2005-2006 campaign. Smith who is 31 played his collegiate ball at Penn State.
