Calderon Leads The Way As Spain Beats Up Germany 83-55

Spain’s point guard Jose Calderon paced his team with 17 points, and it was party time early in Madrid, as the Spanish Team pasted the Team from Germany Thursday,?83-55. Spain shot?57% from the field and held the Germans to 33%?as Dirk Nowitzki was high scorer for Germany with 11 points. Calderon lost a heart breaking game to Germany in 2005, and was making sure it would not happen in the FIBA Euro-Basket quarter finals. Spain will move on to the semi-final round.
