Diaw Leads France Over Turkey 85-64 To Advance In Euro Games

Phoenix Suns guard Boris Diaw led the French national Team over Turkey on Wednesday by a 85-64 margin to advance in the Euro-Basket Tournament in Madrid. Diaw who had been in a shooting slump earlier in the Tournament broke out of it with a game high 18 points.?The French team did not need the victory in order to advance having already qualified for the quarter finals, but considered the win a huge boost for team morale. France will take on Russia in the quarter finals on?Thursday.

    Diaw plays all positions but he’s listed as a forward.

    I always thought of Diaw as a “three” a small forward, however NBA.com lists him as a guard here is the link: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/boris_diaw/index.html
    So I have to with what the NBA calls him
