Russia Beats France At Charity Stripe Win Game 75-71

The French Team’s Boris Diaw scored 17 and teammate Tony Parker added 15, but France could not connect at the free throw line, and it cost them the game losing to Russia 75-71 Thursday. Russia’s J.R. Holden made two critical shots from the charity stripe to give Russia the lead at 71-69 with 24 seconds left. Diaw then missed his two free throws and the game was basically lost right there.?Forward Victor Khyrapa was the player of the game for the Russians leading the team with 16 points 7 boards, and 6 assists.?Russia will move on to the FIBA Euro-Basket Tournament Semi-Final Round.?
