Greeks Squeak By Slovenia 63-62

The Greek National Team live to play another round in the FIBA Euro-Basket Tournament being held in Madrid. But they had to stage an amazing comeback to accomplish it. Greece trailed the Slovenian Team 58-42 with less than eight minutes left on the clock. Slovenia then led 61-49 with 2:41 left in regulation. At that point Greece put on an incredible 14-1 run culminated by a drive to the basket by guard Theo Papaloukas with six seconds left on the clock. Greece beat Slovenia by the final score of 63-62, Papaloukas led all scorers with 17 points. Radoslav Nesterovic led Slovenia with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
