Redick Breaks Hand Should Be Ready For Training Camp

Orlando Magic shooting guard J.J. Redick, who is heading into his second year in the NBA, has a broken bone in his right hand but the injury should be healed in time for training?camp. Redick who played his college ball at Duke, played in 42 games as a rookie for the?magic averaging 6 points per game. Orlando?General Manager Otis Smith says Redick has been wearing a soft cast on the injured hand for about a week. Last Summer Redick had problems with his back which hampered him from preparing properly for his rookie year. He is expected to compete for the starting two guard position in the upcoming season.
