Bucks Sign Royal Ivey To One Year Deal

The Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday signed 6′4″ free agent guard Royal Ivey to a one year contract, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ivey who has played three years in the NBA was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with a second round pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. During Ivey’s three years with the Hawks he averaged 3.4 points and 1.2 assists a game, and plays both point and shooting guard. The signing comes one day after restricted free agent Charlie Bell who played with the Bucks last year signed an offer sheet with the Miami Heat reportedly for 5 years and $18.5 million. Milwaukee has seven days in order to match the offer, reportedly they are still weighing their options.
