Reports out of Minneapolis Tuesday say that the Minnesota Timberwolves have shown interest in free agent center John Edwards. Edwards who went school at Kent State was signed by the Indianapolis Pacers as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He then signed before the?next season with the Atlanta Hawks, who then? traded him back to the?Pacers in the following off-season. Edwards did not play in the NBA last year being waived by Indianapolis at the end of October. Minnesota is?in a rebuilding mode after completing their blockbuster trade with Boston that had Kevin Garnett go the Celtics in return for seven players. Edwards played a total of 65 games during his 2 seasons, averaging 1.5 points per game.
