Reports Say Kirilenko Wants Out Of Utah

The Salt Lake City Desert Morning News reported on Wednesday that Utah Jazz forward wants out of Utah. Kirilenko who was named the tournament MVP of the FIBA Euro-Basket Tournament last Sunday, led Russia to the gold in the Tournament. Kirilenko the 6′9″ forward according the paper revealed the information on his Russian website which he writes a blog for. Kirilenko reportedly wrote that the Jazz offense does not compliment his skill-set, and although he called Jazz coach Jerry Sloan a legend his style is not suitable for the forward’s game. Kirilenko has been with the Jazz since 2001 and has averaged 12.9 points in his six years in the NBA. He is a “Max Player” meaning he makes the maximum contract the NBA allows, his contract runs through the 2010-2011 season.
