The Milwaukee Bucks Thursday matched the offer sheet that restricted free agent guard Charlie Bell signed with the Miami Heat, keeping him in the fold for years to come. The move came?two days after signing free agent guard Royal Ivey causing many to speculate that the Bucks would not match the offer sheet. Because Bell was a restricted free agent Milwaukee had the right to match any offer the player received. The reports out of Miami was that the offer sheet was for 5 years and reported to be worth $18.5 million. Bell who went to Michigan State briefly played in the 2001-2002 season with Phoenix and Dallas,?however he did not get another shot until the 2005-2006?campaign with Milwaukee. He was the only Bucks player to play in all 82 games last season, averaging 13.5 points and 3.0 assists per game.
