Reports out of?Dallas say that the Dallas Mavericks have given point guard Devin Harris a five year contract extension, keeping him in a Dallas uniform through 2012-2013 campaign. The deal reportedly is worth $42 million, the two sides had agreed to the deal in principle earlier this month but have worked out all the details. Harris has been with Dallas since 2004 when the Mavericks worked out a deal with the Washington Wizards on the day of the NBA Draft. Last year was Harris best as a pro, averaging 10.2 points, and 3.7 assists per game?and being a major factor in Dallas winning a league high 67 games. The 6′3″ point guard who played his college ball in Wisconsin has averaged 8.5 points and 3 assists per game for his career.
