New Jersey Nets guard Marcus Williams will undergo surgery Monday to repair damage in his right foot. The second year guard has a break of the fifth metatarsal of hi right foot, no word on how the injury occurred. The University of Connecticut product played in 79 games last season for New Jersey getting 6.8 points, and 3.3 assists per contest being named to NBA All Rookie Second Team. New Jersey will provide further information after completion of the surgical procedure.
