Suns Teammates To Marion: We Want You Back!

Phoenix Suns forward Shawn Marion has made it abundantly clear in recent days that he wants to end his relationship with the Phoenix Suns. Reports have been circulating since before the NBA Draft that Phoenix has been exploring options to trade Marion. Well a third party was heard from on Thursday, Marion’s Phoenix teammates, and they have a different point of view. According to an Arizona newspaper the East Valley Tribune Phoenix guards Steve Nash and Raja Bell have had conversations with Shawn asking him to change his mind and help them compete for a Championship. Nash according to the reports said it would be very sad to lose an important part of the team nucleus, when they all believe they can compete this year for a ring. There has been no comment from Marion about his teammate’s statements.
