After staying pat all off-season the Cleveland Cavaliers have started to do a little shaking up on the eve of NBA Training Camps opening next week. The Cavaliers Saturday traded veteran guard David Wesley to the New Orleans Hornets for forward Cedric Simmons. Simmons who was drafted by the Hornets with the 15th pick of the 2006 NBA Draft played in 43 games in his rookie year including 4 starts and averaged 2.9 points and 2.5 boards per game. The 21 year old Simmons is a 6′9″ forward who went to college at NC State. Wesley who spent a major portion of his career with the Hornets saw very limited action with Cleveland last season.
