Amare Recovering Nicely From Knee Surgery
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
When Phoenix Suns fans hear Amare Stoudemire and knee surgery used in the same context, they start to involuntarily shake. It is an understandable reaction, after all Stoudemire was down for almost an entire NBA campaign after having microfracture surgery on his left knee leading up to the 2005-2006 season. So when it was announced on Monday that the All-Star power forward was having a surgical procedure on his knee, there was serious concern in Arizona. Well, Suns General Manager Steve Kerr told Phoenix fans they were worried for naught. Stoudemire, had an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee removing some some floating debris that was causing soreness during workouts. Recovery time, two to three weeks, alright Suns fans, you can stop shaking now!
