Hawes Will Have Arthroscopic Surgery

The Sacramento Kings announced on Tuesday that rookie center Spencer Hawes will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee Wednesday. Hawes was taken by Sacramento with the number 1o pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. Hawes played his collegiate ball at Washington. No reports have been released on what caused the damage in the knee or what time table will be set for the players return. Sacramento is expected to release an update once the procedure is completed.
