Childress On Fire Hawks Defeat Heat In O/T 106-100

The man with the Old School Afro Josh Childress scored a game high 25 points, and the Atlanta Hawks slipped by the Miami Heat 106-100 in overtime Wednesday night. Childress who’s ‘DO probably most resembles Jamal Wilkes ‘Fro in the early ’80’s shot like another ’80’s legend former Hawks star Dominique Wilkins. Childress scored 17 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter led the Hawks to a 100-100 tie against Miami at the end of regulation. The Hawks scored the overtime period’s only six points for the victory. Atlanta’s Joe Johnson scored 21, Marvin Williams had 17, and Josh Smith had a game high 15 rebounds. Miami Center Shaquille O’Neal looked strong in the first half scoring 10 points in just 16 minutes before taking a seat for the night. Heat forward Udonis Haslem was his team’s high scorer with 22 points.
