Real Madrid Squeaks By Raptors 104-103

Former Michigan player Louis Bullock now playing in Spain for Real Madrid scored 27 points and Charles Smith added 18, as the Spanish team defeated the Toronto Raptors 104-103 Thursday. The game held in Madrid was the last game of the pre-season tournament called “NBA Europe Live.” Toronto led by 7 points after the first quarter 29-22 but their lead was down to 2 points at the half 56-54. Toronto then got outscored in the third quarter by six giving Real Madrid a four point edge going into the final period. And although Toronto would score 28 points in the fourth it was not enough as Real Madrid scored 25 to win the game by the slimmest of margins. Toronto had four players in double figures led by forward Andrea Bargnani who had 23 points and 7 boards.
