Yi Gets Into Flow Bucks Beat Jazz 90-81
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
What a difference a day makes! That was certainly the case with Milwaukee Bucks rookie Forward Yi Jianlian Wednesday night as Milwaukee defeated the Utah Jazz 90-81. In Tuesday night’s win against the Chicago Bulls the rookie from China looked lost on the floor fouling out of the game with only 3 points. However Wednesday night, Yi looked far more comfortable on the court, shooting 4-11 including 1-2 from three point range for a total of 12 points. More importantly only 4 fouls, allowing him to stay in the game. Guard Michael Redd paced the Bucks with 17 points, center Andrew Bogut scored 10 for Milwaukee. Guard Ronnie Brewer scored 17 for the Jazz who were playing at home. The Salt Lake City crowd gave Andrei Kirilenko a mixed reception, Kirilenko posted entries on his website last month that he wanted out of Utah. Milwaukee is now 2-0 in the pre-season.
