?The Detroit Pistons were led by their new kid on the block forward Jarvis Hayes with 24 points as they defeated a severely depleted Denver Nuggets team Sunday 109-106. Hayes who had spent his entire four year career with the Washington Wizards led four Detroit players in double figures in front of the Pistons home crowd in Auburn Hills.?Denver came to town without, Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, Nene, or Kenyon Martin. Still they were able to stay in the game until the final buzzer due to having five players in double figures led by Anthony Roberson with 22. The loss was the first of the pre-season for Denver who drop to 2-1, Detroit now stands at 2-2.
